Cox Automotive USA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II—DOT to perform on-site maintenance, inspections, and repairs for light to heavy-duty vehicles, often at customer sites. You’ll work independently with a company vehicle and 100% travel in the region.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience, or higher degree with 1 year experience, or 5 years without a degree.
• Personal set of hand tools required.
• Ability to obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months of employment.
• This position follows DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose, adjust and repair truck equipment including electrical/brake/cooling systems and engines.
• Use diagnostic tools and handheld devices to inspect and troubleshoot vehicle systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and safety.
• Maintain company service truck, telematics unit, and inventory of parts.
• Document all work and DOT forms accurately and on time.
• Communicate repair estimates and RO findings with management.
