Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. This role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to work in a dynamic fleet environment.

Evening shift with 100% travel across customer sites. You will document work performed via the TRAIT app on an iOS device, manage parts on a company truck, and collaborate with clients to meet repair timelines and

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnostic and repair work on electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Operate hand tools and diesel diagnostic equipment.
• Document service orders and parts used with company tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck schedule.
• Complete DOT forms and admin documentation in a timely manner.
