Job summary

Cox Automotive – USA, via Cox Fleet, provides uptime solutions with nationwide coverage and a network of service centers. As Mobile Diesel Tech II - DOT, you will perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a fleet ranging from light vehicles to heavy-duty trucks.

This role offers independence, a company-issued service vehicle you can take home, and a schedule Tuesday–Saturday 11am–8pm. Join a team delivering reliable fleet support across the country.

Qualifications

• Perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment including electrical, braking, cooling, engine systems, transmissions and differentials.
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and document RO work using TRAIT on an iOS device.
