Job summary

IWG is seeking a Community Associate in San Jose to support a vibrant center with on-site responsibilities. You will assist customers, set up equipment, manage inquiries, and help organize local networking events to grow the community.

You’ll work 20 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM, at 2033 Gateway Place, San Jose. The role emphasizes service excellence, teamwork, and hands-on office operations in a fast-paced coworking network.

Qualifications

• A good communicator with the ability to build relationships and empathize with customer needs (ideally 1+ years in customer service).
• Willing to own problems and find solutions.
• Positive, enthusiastic and able to adapt to fast-changing situations.
• Experience and confidence using MS Office and basic IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries, Wi-Fi changes, packages, directions, and setup tasks.
• Charge services and ensure invoices are accurate.
• Organize events, invitations, posters and act as point of contact for center activities.
• Manage center operations and coordinate with the City Manager when needed.
