Job summary

ViaPath Technologies in Leesport, PA, is seeking a Telecommunications Site Technician to join the Field Services team. You will travel to client sites within an assigned Eastern PA territory and perform preventive maintenance, remedial repair, and system reliability tasks.

Based in Leesport, the role requires independent work with limited supervision, installing telephony hardware, wiring, and kiosk service while ensuring excellent customer service and timely problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Proficient with Windows OS, MS Office, and networking/telephony basics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ambassador for ViaPath while meeting customers.
• Provide service of ViaPath products at customer sites and assist customers.
• Prioritize and plan service calls; communicate updates.
• Escalate problems when appropriate; interact professionally with customers.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; pull cable and install devices.
• Administer kiosk service and collections; handle jams and deposits.
• Troubleshoot basic issues; assist Technical Support with corrective action.
• Handle wiring troubleshooting and repairs on copper/fiber installations.
• Take on special projects as assigned; overtime calls are expected.
• Foster an effective team environment and support video visitation issues.
