Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Safety Trainer to deliver on-site safety programs for customers and to develop customized training solutions that drive safety and revenue. You will train customer employees, lead train-the-trainer sessions, and coordinate instructor and operator training on a variety of equipment.

The role requires establishing safety program proficiency, navigating federal regulations, and collaborating with sales and operations to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or combination of college and related work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting safety training for equipment operators.
• Experience conducting train-the-trainer programs and safety training.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FAA, MSHA, EPA and safety codes and standards.
• Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Experience with mobile data entry and field tech
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Salesforce.com preferred.

Responsibilities

• On customer's site, trains customer's employees on required safety training programs.
• Provides expertise in safety training requirements based on customer account.
• Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for safety programs.
• Coordinates instructor and operator training for customer's employees.
