United Rentals, Inc. is the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeking an Academy Trainer to deliver world-class safety and equipment operator training to customers and internal teams.

You will serve as a subject-matter expert, developing customized programs, driving training revenue, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple platforms. The role collaborates with Sales, Operations, and customers to identify opportunities, manage training records, and promote workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of college and related work experience.
• Experience delivering equipment operator, safety, industrial, or workforce development training programs.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, CSA, MSHA safety standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led safety and equipment operator training programs for customers and United Rentals employees.
• Conduct practical evaluations, Train-the-Trainer programs, and Certified Evaluator certifications.
• Utilize digital learning platforms, mobile apps, simulators, and blended learning solutions to enhance training.
• Adapt training delivery to customer needs while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on equipment operation, safety, and workforce development.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to identify training opportunities and support revenue growth.
• Build strong relationships with customers, branch teams, and regional stakeholders.
• Promote safety training, eLearning, and workforce development solutions.
