Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring for a Safety Training professional responsible for conducting operator and safety training for customers and employees. The role includes publishing class schedules, delivering private sessions on-site or at branches, and maintaining training records.

You will also support sales efforts and work with marketing to promote offerings, while mentoring evaluators across districts. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in safety training with LMS experience, travel readiness

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum 5 years in a related field; Heavy equipment experience and certification; Broad knowledge of safety standards; Experience with adult learning methods; Ability and willingness to travel (10%-15%); Proficiency in MS Office; Preferred bilingual in Spanish or French; LMS experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment operator certification training and safety training for customers and employees.
• Publish public training class schedules on a 3-month rolling calendar on the training platform.
• Provide private classes at a branch location or customer site.
• Complete training records in the systems.
• Issue customer wallet cards within 24 hours of class completion.
• Learn new training methods and courses across safety topics.
• Maintain current training and operator certifications.
• Provide Train the Trainer courses for customers.
• Optimize productivity via attendance and scheduling.
• Support sales teams to close safety training opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote training to local customers.
• Coach Certified Evaluators in districts.
• Support evaluation team with practical evaluations for customers.
