Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Academy Trainer to deliver world-class safety and equipment operator training for customers and internal staff. The role focuses on expert training delivery, program development, and compliance with regulatory standards.

You’ll use LMS, digital platforms, and Train-the-Trainer programs to improve operator competency and safety performance across sites. Collaboration with Sales and Operations supports revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or combination of college and related work experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering equipment operator, safety, or workforce development training programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led safety and equipment operator training programs for customers and United Rentals employees.
• Conduct practical evaluations and Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Utilize digital learning platforms, LMS, and mobile solutions to enhance learning.
• Adapt training delivery to meet customer needs while maintaining safety and quality.
• Build relationships with customers, branch teams, and stakeholders to support revenue growth.
