Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks an Academy Trainer to deliver world-class safety and operator training for customers and internal teams. You will mentor learners, conduct evaluations, and leverage LMS and digital tools to enhance safety, competency, and workforce development.

This role partners with Sales and Operations, supports revenue growth, and ensures regulatory compliance while maintaining training records and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years delivering equipment safety or workforce training.
• Knowledge of OSHA/ANSI/CSA/MSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led safety and equipment operator training for customers and employees.
• Conduct evaluations, Train-the-Trainer programs, and competency assessments.
• Utilize LMS, digital platforms, simulators, and blended learning.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to identify training opportunities and revenue growth.
• Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and documentation.
