Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an experienced United Academy Trainer to deliver world-class safety and equipment operator training programs to internal and external customers. You will serve as a subject matter expert in equipment operation, safety compliance, adult learning, and customer training solutions.

You will partner with Sales, Operations, and branch teams to identify training needs, drive revenue, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance workforce development through instructor-led

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of college and related work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering equipment operator, safety, industrial, or workforce development training programs.
• Experience with OSHA/ANSI/CSA/MSHA or similar safety standards preferred.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and drive training opportunities.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led safety and equipment operator training programs for customers and United Rentals employees.
• Conduct practical evaluations, Train-the-Trainer programs, and Certified Evaluator certifications.
• Utilize digital learning platforms, simulators, and blended learning to enhance the learning experience.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and local branches to identify training opportunities and support revenue growth.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and customer documentation.
