Job summary

Essex Property Trust is seeking a Community Relations Representative in California to serve as the primary in-person contact for residents and prospective residents. You will manage communications, coordinate move-in and move-out processes, and support community operations with high-level customer service.

The role is on-site five days per week, requires strong organizational skills, and familiarity with CRM and Microsoft Office. Housing discount of 20% is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary in-person contact for residents.
• Manage inquiries via CRM and respond promptly.
• Coordinate move-in/move-out processes and paperwork.
• Organize resident events and assist community operations.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA and policies.
• Attend on-site five days per week.
