Job summary

Essex in City Fountain Valley, CA, seeks a Community Relations Representative to serve as the primary in-person contact for residents, handling inquiries and coordinating move-in/out and events.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, on-site work five days a week, and collaboration with the Community Management Team to meet satisfaction targets. Proficiency with MS Office and CRM software is required; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• One year of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a desire to help people.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a centralized, high-volume hub environment.
• Must work on-site in the office five days per week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management or CRM software.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Capability to utilize a personal smart device for apps related to property operations and communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in person contact for residents.
• Manage communications and inquiries via the CRM system.
• Facilitate move-in and move-out processes and paperwork.
• Address resident questions in person or virtually, by appointment or drop-in.
• Support community operations and resident satisfaction targets.
