Gallery Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Director to support the Community Director in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community in Birmingham, AL. You will handle rent collection, invoicing, deposits, and financial reporting using the property management system.

The role requires a high school diploma/GED and at least 2 years in the multifamily industry, with proficiency in Yardi or One Site. Weekend availability and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required with 2 years in the multifamily industry.
• Experience in property management accounting and financial reporting is preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi/One Site) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent and other payments, posts transactions, and prepares deposits.
• Reviews invoices and processes payments with vendors and accounting.
• Maintains financial records and reports, and assists in month-end close.
• Communicates with residents regarding balances and collections.
• Acts as on-site supervisor in absence of Community Manager.
• Supports leasing/marketing efforts to meet revenue goals.
