Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Director to support the Community Director in overseeing a property's financial operations, including rent collection, invoicing, and monthly close-out. You will partner with the on-site team to ensure accurate reporting and timely payments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in multifamily property management; strong accounting and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Experience in property management and financial operations.
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and reconcile transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and posts rent and other payments; prepares daily deposits and financial reports
  • Review and submit vendor invoices for payment; code charges and coordinate with accounting
  • Enter approved bills into the accounting system and scan invoices to the data drive
  • Review resident files to identify unpaid or late fees; communicate with residents and enforce the lease
  • Follow eviction procedures and represent the property in court hearings when required
  • Process move-outs and apply deposits and lease cancellation fees
  • Assist leasing and marketing efforts to meet revenue and occupancy goals
  • Complete various accounting, financial, and administrative reports and duties as assigned
  • Meet attendance and physical demands in line with Gallery Residential policies
