Job summary

Greystar/Stone Gate Apartments in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on the property, diagnose issues, and repair to code. You will manage make-ready tasks for vacant units, document service requests, assist with groundskeeping, and support cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts.

The role requires OSHA awareness, flexibility to cover call shifts, and the ability to work in all weather while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf carts on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance on the property, diagnosing issues and repairing per policies and code.
• Execute the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and re-occupancy tasks.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, return unused items, and notify supervision when re-orders are needed.
• Document service requests promptly and accurately to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds, amenities, cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts and proper tool usage.
• Attend safety meetings, learn OSHA-related requirements, and report accidents promptly.
• Periodically inspect contractors' work to verify quality against standards.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local jurisdictions certifications as required

Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property
