Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests at customer sites within the assigned territory, focusing on POS hardware and related equipment. You will diagnose, repair, test, and ensure proper functionality while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory.

Travel within a 150-mile radius with occasional overnights, perform preventative maintenance, software/hardware installs and upgrades, and provide professional,

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related Technology Field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technology service preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• CompTIA A+/Network+ or Industry-Specific Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all service requests in a timely manner and document details, including parts/equipment used.
• Interact positively with store personnel and TRUNO team.
• Maintain ability to work regular hours and after-hours when needed.
• Willing to travel within a 150-mile radius, with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic power tools as needed to perform duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related equipment.
• Perform basic configuration of software/hardware and installs/upgrades.
