Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a on-site People Practices Coordinator to support employee lifecycle activities for a large project location in the United States. You will partner with the business team to manage onboarding, orientation, and engagement initiatives while ensuring policy consistency and local execution.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in HR/operations, a Bachelor’s degree, and HR certifications. This full-time on-site role emphasizes collaboration, governance, and proactive employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field required.
• 2–4 years of experience in human resources, operations support, employee engagement, or a related field required; construction industry experience preferred.
• HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred; additional HR-related certifications welcome.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business partner team to deliver employee lifecycle programs and services.
• Serve as first point of contact for employees and coaches, guiding to People Practices resources and escalating when needed.
• Interpret and apply company policies to ensure consistent People Practices support at the local level.
• Coordinate onboarding processes, including 30/60/90‑day check‑ins with new hires and coaches.
• Collaborate with COEs and People Operations to execute local People Practices services and training logistics.
• Organise and manage People Practices events and engagement activities to support inclusion and culture.
• Support interview coordination and off‑boarding tasks such as asset retrieval and system updates.
