Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a People Practices professional to serve as the local representative for onboarding, engagement, and employee lifecycle services on a mega project site in the United States. You will partner with the business teams to deliver onboarding, orientation, and local programming while maintaining consistent application of People Practices policies.

You will act as the first point of contact for employees, coaching them to the right resources and coordinating 30/60/90-day

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field requested.
• 2-4 years of experience in human resources, operations support, or employee engagement required; construction experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP/PHR or related HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the business partner team to support delivery of employee and candidate lifecycle programs and services.
• First point of contact for employees and coaches, guiding resources and escalating complex matters.
• Interprets and applies company policies to ensure consistent People Practices support locally.
• Coordinates implementation of onboarding processes, including 30/60/90-day check-ins with new hires and coaches.
• Collaborates with COEs and People Operations to execute local People Practices services, including training logistics and orientation.
• Organizes and manages People Practices events and connection points for engagement, inclusion, safety awareness, and culture alignment.
• Supports tactical employee lifecycle activities, including interview coordination and off-boarding tasks.
