Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a People Practices (PP) professional to support onboarding and the employee lifecycle at a local project site. You will partner with the business partner team to execute onboarding, cultural initiatives, and engagement activities, serving as the first point of contact for employees and coaches.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or a related field and 2–4 years of HR-related experience; construction industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field required.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with business partner team to deliver employee and candidate lifecycle programs and services.
  • Acts as a first point of contact for employees and coaches, guiding to People Practices resources.
  • Interprets and applies company policies to ensure consistent People Practices support locally.
  • Coordinates onboarding processes including 30/60/90‑day check-ins.
  • Collaborates with COEs and People Operations to execute local People Practices services.
  • Organizes People Practices events to support engagement, inclusion, and cultural alignment.
  • Supports interview coordination and offboarding activities such as asset retrieval and system updates.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, or related field
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
