Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Familiar with plasma collection regulations and FDA training requirements.
• Acceptance and informed consent processes for donors are required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, medical history, exposure to AIDS education, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs and standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees where applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and escalate to occupational health/EHS as needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations.
