Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable results.

You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, following SOPs and BioLife policies to ensure donor safety and compliance. Requirements include a high school diploma with nursing credentials, state licensure (EMT/EMT-P/LPN/LVN/RN), CPR/AED, two

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a nursing program credential.
• Active state licensure as EMT, LPN/LVN, or RN as applicable.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history, physical exams, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for findings and guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees when applicable.
• Manage occupational health incidents and follow EHS guidance.
• Possibly serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
