Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Saint Paul, MN. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under the Center Manager's guidance.

Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification required.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• State licensure in applicable role (EMT, LPN/LVN, RN) required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
