Job summary

IPG is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of IPG/Better Packages equipment at customer locations. You will ensure uptime and support production needs with hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude.

This role requires independent work, strong customer communication, and the ability to travel up to 30% of the week. You will install, diagnose, and service equipment, document actions, and assist with field testing and product

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent field service experience.
• Ability to diagnose faults at customer sites.
• Strong communication with customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Install and calibrate IPG equipment at customer locations.
• Provide on-the-job training to customer staff.
• Maintain service records and report issues.
