AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients with frame and lens selections, ensure accurate measurements, and dispense lenses while maintaining high service standards.

You will interpret prescriptions, enter data into the EHR/ALE system, and educate patients on care, insurance, warranties, and promotions. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and a patient-first approach on-site in Pittsburgh.

Qualifikationen

• High school or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Aufgaben

• Delivers extraordinary patient experience and explains product recommendations.
• Assists patients in selecting frames, lenses, and lens treatments; ensures proper fit and measurements.
• Interprets prescriptions and enters into EHR/ALE system; maintains documentation.
• Follows up on orders and communicates status to patients; resolves issues with management when needed.
• Educates patients on care, warranties, insurance, and price options.
• Inspects final product, ensures fit and comfort, and performs adjustments and repairs.
• Keeps up-to-date with products, rebates, and lens/frame types.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and displays.
