AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their prescription, lifestyle, and facial measurements, ensuring proper fit and comfort.

You will interpret prescriptions, manage orders in the EHR/ALE系统, and communicate clearly with patients about status, warranties, and insurance benefits. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, service, and teamwork.

Formación

• High School or GED requirement.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Proficient PC skills including MS Office and Windows.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers extraordinary patient experience and explains customized eyewear recommendations.
• Gathers lifestyle info to identify visual needs and recommends frames, lenses, and lens treatments.
• Keeps up-to-date with products, rebates, and lens/frame options.
• Communicates order status and resolves issues with patients and team.
• Educates patients on eyewear care, warranty, and insurance coverage.
• Interprets prescriptions and enters data into EHR/ALE systems.
• Ensures proper fitting, adjustments, and patient comfort of eyewear.
• Assists with inventory, displays, and overall practice appearance.
