Zusammenfassung

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames, ensure proper fit, and dispense lenses with accuracy while maintaining high levels of service and product knowledge.

You will interpret prescriptions, manage orders in the EHR/ALE system, and educate patients on insurance coverage and warranty options. This is a full-time, on-site role in Pittsburgh with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills including MS Office and Windows.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales experience.

• Delivers extraordinary patient experience and explains customized recommendations for products and services.
• Gathers lifestyle information to identify visual needs and recommends appropriate frames and lenses.
• Keeps up-to-date on products, rebates, lenses, and frame options.
• Manage orders: calls, status updates, and issue resolution with escalation when needed.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings per prescription and lifestyle.
