Job summary

Newrez in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Document Administration Collateral Specialist II to manage receiving, cataloging, and shipping collateral and servicing documentation to 3rd party custodians and vendors.

The role requires interaction with investors and partners, working knowledge of mortgage servicing systems, and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision while supporting junior staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in Document Administration or Mortgage Servicing or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure requested documentation is completed within SLAs.
• Request collateral files from custodians to satisfy SLA requirements for Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy and Foreclosure.
• Identify and cure collateral exceptions for delivery, sales, and certifications.
• Address inquiries from vendors, investors, and Portfolio Managers promptly.
• Review daily task queues and ensure tasks are completed within SLAs.
• Update and annotate actions in all systems.
• Prepare required reporting for management, investors, and vendors.
• Maintain MERS and inventory records for collateral and files.
