Job summary

Newrez in Tempe, AZ seeks a Document Administration Title Specialist II to review, prepare, execute, and record mortgage documents, ensuring clear chain of title for loans serviced by SMS. You will work with borrowers, clients, investors, and partners to review documents and ensure proper recording.

The role requires intermediate knowledge of mortgage servicing systems, strong communication, and the ability to operate with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years’ experience in Document Administration or Mortgage Servicing or similar field.
• Prior year performance evaluation of 3.3 or better (Internal candidates only).
• Direct Supervisor recommendation (Internal candidates only).

Responsibilities

• Review/abstract land records, title reports and mortgage documents to determine needed documents.
• Identify, process, and prepare required documents (Lien Release, Assignments, Allonges, Lost Note Affidavits, etc.).
• Review prepared loan documentation for thoroughness and accuracy against SLA.
• Address inquiries from vendors, investors, Portfolio Managers,etc. in a timely manner.
• Update and annotate actions in all appropriate systems and generate required reporting.
