Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on trailers at customer sites. This on-site role requires independent work, strong diagnostics, and adherence to DOT regulations.

The position involves working at customer sites with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, reporting to Sr Technicians as needed. A valid license and ASE-related credentials are required within set timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• 608/609 certification within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
• DOT medical card valid or valid within remaining months.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair components (compressors, coils, electrical components).
• Follow safety procedures and maintain vehicle and tools.
• Manage parts inventory and document work on RO using company devices.
• Communicate with customers and management to discuss repairs and approvals.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
