Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform on-site maintenance and repairs for trailers and related equipment. Responsibilities include DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs at customer sites, with supervision for advanced tasks as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related field experience; or 5 years of related field experience.
Experience with refrigerated equipment is preferred.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on trailers and related systems.

Responsibilities

Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers.
Diagnose and repair components such as brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, and weld/fabricate as needed.
Maintain your service truck and equipment, conduct safety checks, and complete documentation on RO using mobile device.
Communicate with customers and management to obtain approvals and updates on repairs.
Work with minimal supervision and manage a daily schedule in a field/mobile setting.
