Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II for an on-site role to perform certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs on trailers and equipment at customer sites.

The technician will work under supervision of a Sr Mobile Trailer Technician, maintain documentation in TRAIT, and handle parts as needed. 100% travel may be required; reside in the designated city/region is expected.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on trailers and equipment.
• Perform light repairs and assist senior technicians.
• Document work on Repair Orders using TRAIT app.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Document work and upload photos in TRAIT on iOS.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical components on trailers.
• Maintain safe working practices and inventory on service vehicle.
• Work closely with clients to assess needs and deliver solutions.
