Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs at customer sites. The role involves on-site work, documenting findings, and collaborating with Sr Technicians to complete more complex tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience, DOT compliance knowledge, and own tools. ASE certifications are preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related experience.
• DOT pre-employment requirements and valid DOT medical card.
• Own set of hand tools required.
• OEM certifications preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers with minimal supervision.
• Document work using RO system and TRAIT app on an iOS device.
• Repair trailer brakes, air lines, auxiliary pumps, engines, liftgates, and related systems.
• Maintain safety practices and adhere to company policies.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain company service vehicle.
