Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II for dedicated on-site work. You’ll perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on trailers, under supervision of senior techs. Work is conducted at customer sites with focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

The role requires tools, valid license, and ability to manage parts and documentation. ASE/DOT certifications are preferred, with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; DOT background check and pre‑employment screening.
• Preferred ASE certifications and DOT training.
• Ability to read and follow DOT forms and complex repair instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on trailers with minimal supervision.
• Document work in ROs using iOS and TRAIT app, including parts and findings.
• Diagnose electrical components and perform standard trailer repairs and adjustments.
• Maintain service truck and manage parts inventory; follow safety procedures.
