Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs at customer sites. You will handle trailer brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, and related components, while learning advanced skills under supervision of senior technicians.

The role is on-site with company-issued tools, safety training, and opportunities for career growth within a nationwide service network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years' related trailer experience, or 5 years of related field experience.
• CDL Class C license required.
• ASE or FMCSA/DOT training preferred; DOT compliance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers with minimal supervision.
• Document work using company mobile tools and upload RO details and photos.
• Diagnose and repair trailer systems including brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, and liftgates.
• Maintain safety practices, manage parts inventory, and coordinate with customers and vendors.
