Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II for on-site work at customer locations. You will perform certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, light repairs, and advanced tasks such as brakes, air lines, pumps, and welding under supervision as needed.

The role requires high school graduation, 3 years in trailer-related work, and DOT regulatory knowledge. ASE certifications and ongoing safety training are provided; a company truck and tools are supplied.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years’ trailer experience preferred.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months is required or obtained; ASE 608/609 preferred.
• DOT regulations familiarity and ability to pass a DOT medical and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on trailers with minimal supervision.
• Document work orders with photos and notes using TRAIT app on iOS devices.
• Diagnose and repair trailer brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, and related systems.
• Maintain and operate company-provided service vehicle and tools; conduct safety checks and pre/post-trip inspections.
