Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Reefer Trailer Technician II for on-site work performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on refrigerated trailers. You will service ThermoKing, Carrier, and related systems, document work via the TRAIT app, and coordinate with customers and the management team to ensure quality service.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with 3 years of related field experience, DOT knowledge, and the ability to work independently on customer sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months preferred.
• ASE 608/609 certification preferred.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform certified DOT inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Repair refrigeration equipment and related systems (ThermoKing, Carrier).
• Diagnose compressors, coils, and electrical components.
• Maintain and operate company vehicle and document repairs on RO using TRAIT app.
• Communicate with customers and management to obtain approvals and updates.
