Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leading mobile maintenance provider, seeks a Mobile Diesel & Reefer Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-mid repairs on refrigerated fleets. Expect field work across a mobile environment, documenting work via TRAIT on iOS and maintaining company truck readiness.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues, work with clients to meet needs, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with related experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months is preferred.
• DOT and FMCSA regulatory compliance experience is required or essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on refrigerated trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Use tools and diagnostic devices to identify issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain service truck and document work in TRAIT on iOS devices.
• Interact with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Ensure safety policies and OSHA/DOT regulations are followed.
