Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Reefer Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PM inspections, and light repairs in a mobile/field environment. You’ll diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on trucks and trailers, maintain the service truck, and upload RO data via TRAIT on an iOS device.

The role requires HS diploma/GED with 3–5 years related experience, ASE T8 within 18 months, and valid DOT credentials; company offers rapid pay, training, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience (or 5 years’ equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Certified to use refrigerants R134, R404, R410 as needed.
• DOT regulatory pre-employment screening and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment and trucks.
• Diagnose, repair and replace components in mobile field settings.
• Document work on RO using company iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Maintain/operate service truck and manage parts inventory.
• Coordinate with management for repairs and approvals.
