Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Reffer Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy trucks and refrigerated equipment in a mobile/field setting. You will work with supervision from senior technicians and are expected to maintain productivity and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years with refrigerated equipment, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and be able to manage parts inventory and documentation using

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years related field experience, or 5 years related field experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Certified to handle refrigerants R134, R404, R410 and others as needed.
• Must possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• DOT pre-employment background check, DOT physical, and valid DOT medical card if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on refrigerated and HVAC systems in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Complete DOT inspections and related paperwork accurately.
• Maintain and operate company service vehicle and safety checks.
• Communicate with customers to assess needs and provide updates on repairs.
