Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Trailer Repair Technician II in Kentucky to perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on reefer trailers. This on-site role involves light repairs, component replacement, welding, and fabrication under supervision as needed.

You will manage parts, document findings, and ensure safety compliance while delivering high-quality service at customer sites. A strong focus on efficiency and accuracy is required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of related field experience preferred for refrigerated equipment.
• Must be able to operate hand tools and welding equipment and perform inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on reefers and related equipment.
• Conduct light repairs including brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, liftgates and related systems.
• Document work orders, upload photos, and complete DOT forms in a timely manner.
• Work on-site at customer locations with the ability to manage daily schedule and parts.
