Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-mid repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems and perform trailer repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate has HS diploma/GED with 3–5 years of related experience, valid DOT credentials, and ASE certifications or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related field experience, or 5 years’ related experience.
• ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment background and DOT physical.
• Valid CDL/Driver's license and 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect and repair trailer equipment and systems.
• Document work and update RO in TRAIT using company iOS device.
