Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on trucks and trailers, document findings with our TRAIT app, and manage parts on a company service truck.

Must have a HS diploma, ASE T8 within 18 months, and a valid 21+ license with clean MVR. Benefits include comprehensive safety gear and company-issued tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, 3 years related field experience or 5 years related field.
• ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months and DOT/FMCSA compliance required.
• Valid driver’s license; 21+ years old; safe driving record (MVR).

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile/heavy equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and service electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Repair trailers—brakes, air lines, lifts, and related components.
• Test, road test, and document findings using RO system and TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with management for approvals.
• Maintain safety, ethics, and DOT regulatory compliance in daily work.
