Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs for fleets in a mobile field setting. You will work with diesel systems, electrical and hydraulic diagnostics, and document work on a company iOS device using the TRAIT application.

Workweek is Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with on-site service across our nationwide network and mobile units.

Qualifications

• Experience with light/medium/heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Ability to perform licensed DOT inspections and PMs.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document findings on RO via TRAIT app and upload parts used.
• Maintain safe, compliant operations and manage daily schedule.
