Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and advanced diagnostics in a mobile/field environment. You will work under supervision to develop more advanced mechanical skills and deliver high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities include diagnosing various truck systems, detailing work performed, managing parts inventory, and maintaining company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience, or equivalent combinations.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification to be obtained within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance with background and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on light–heavy duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document repairs and parts used on RO via iOS device and TRAIT app.
