Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to moderate repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and work with a Sr tech on advanced tasks.

You must manage parts on the service truck, upload RO photos via iOS app, and meet safety and DOT requirements while maintaining high productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related field experience or equivalent combination.
• A valid DOT driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems in trucks and trailers.
• Road test vehicles and document findings on RO using TRAIT app.
• Obtain parts from vendors and manage service truck inventory.
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT safety regulations and policies.
