Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on mobile fleets. You will diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and conduct thorough diagnostics for timely service at customer sites.

With supervision from a Sr Mobile Diesel Technician when needed, you will document all findings, manage parts, and ensure DOT compliance while maintaining safety and efficiency on each job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy vehicles in the field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Test and road-test vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation.
• Document work on Repair Orders using company devices.
• Coordinate parts and communicate repair estimates with management.
• Maintain safety and DOT compliance on all tasks.
