Job summary

MJ Recruiters, LLC partners with a profitable leading manufacturer to hire an On-Site Recruiter for manufacturing in Dayton, OH. This hands-on role focuses on hourly recruitment, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and driving fast-paced hiring in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in talent acquisition within manufacturing, experience recruiting for hourly and salary roles, and proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is highly preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3–5 years of talent acquisition experience in manufacturing.
• Experience recruiting for hourly and salary team members.
• Experience recruiting technical roles such as engineering and skilled trades.
• Experience improving recruitment strategies.
• HRIS experience.
• Microsoft Office skills preferred but not required.
• Experience recruiting skilled trades.
• Experience developing or improving recruitment programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly recruitment efforts and assist with salary recruitment.
• Assist with internship and apprenticeship programs.
• Support community involvement and awareness as a premier employer.
• Utilize current and future recruitment tools.
• Ensure standardized interview and onboarding processes are being utilized.
• Update management on status of unfilled positions.
• Work with hiring teams on interviewing compliance.
• Foster external relationships to support recruitment efforts.
• Participate in college and community job fair programs.
• Work to continuously improve talent acquisition programs.
• Utilize the current HRIS and work to improve functionality.
• Other duties as directed by management.
