Job summary
Electrical Automation Services seeks an experienced Manufacturing Controls Engineer to support high-speed beverage manufacturing in Glendale, AZ. This on-site role focuses on ladder logic development for Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix/CompactLogix) and on-line troubleshooting of automated filling/packaging lines.
The position requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI/VFD skills, and the ability to work 12-hour 2-2-3 day rotations.
Qualifications
- Hands-on PLC programming and ladder logic development.
- 4+ years of industrial automation experience on high-speed lines.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-shift controls expert for the plant.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for PLCs, HMIs, and networks.
- Develop and implement automation projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
- Support commissioning, upgrades, and system integration.
