Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to support high-speed beverage production on-site in Glendale, AZ. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on running lines, mentor maintenance staff, and drive automation improvements.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI expertise, and the ability to diagnose complex control problems across electrical schematics and networked equipment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial automation on high-speed production lines.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Experience with PLC/HMI backups and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for processing, filling, packaging.
• Diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD/servo issues and restore production.
• Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality, throughput.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
